Tony took his first yoga class in 2017 and was obsessed ever since. Growing up always being inflexible, he started practicing as a means to try to help heal chronic pain and improve his overall well-being. After practicing for a few months, he started to notice positive changes in his mental and physical health that radically changed his quality of life. He then decided to become a teacher to help people heal themselves and to find more peace in their lives. Currently he is teaching around the Chicago area as well as training for the Midwest division of the USA yoga competitions. At the club since 2023
630-315-5373Amy Kerman-Gutzmer is an E-RYT 200 and has been teaching yoga since 2010. She teaches a variety of styles of yoga including hatha, vinyasa, gentle, yin and restorative. She has specialized training in exercise for cancer survivors and energy healing. In addition, she is certified in Yoga Trapeze and Level 2 Reiki. At the club since: 2011
Anna grew up playing competitive sports and excelled in tennis and softball. She has over 9 years of experience training one-on-one and groups. Anna has a passion for helping others to live their best lives. She has been an ISSA certified personal trainer since 2011, has a B.S. in Human Resources and specializes in strength training & HIIT-based workouts. Anna has an attractive personality that keeps her clients coming back for more. She designs fun and effective workouts that will keep you guessing and appropriately challenged. She became inspired to get her 200hr training to help others experience the benefits of yoga for themselves. Beth has been teaching yoga to all ages for 9 years and is continuing her yoga education in multiple class formats while working towards her 500hr certification. Carrie Provost comes to the Sport Center with an eclectic resume – her primary career is as an orchestra conductor and violinist in the DuPage Symphony Orchestra. Yoga has become an integral part of Carrie’s life since she started taking classes 15 years ago at the Sport Center. She was inspired to complete the 200 hour teacher training in order to help others experience yoga’s benefits. RYT-500 certified!
