REACH / PILATES CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

REACH This reformer based class focuses on lengthening, strengthening, and improving body alignment. You can expect a challenging, non-impact fitness class that utilizes reformers, TRX Straps, BoSus, and bender balls.

REACH Plus Take your workout to the next level with this reformer based class focusing on lengthening, strengthening, and improving body alignment. You can expect a challenging, non-impact fitness class that utilizes reformers, TRX Straps, BoSus, and bender balls. REACH Plus moves at a faster pace and incorporates more advanced exercises than the traditional REACH class.

Pilates Strong Flow Build a strong body from head to toe using the Pilates Reformer. This piece of equipment features a bedded carriage with a system of customizable springs, ropes and pulleys which offers a unique form of exercise involving eccentric and concentric movements in order to focus on muscle tone and core strength. Using the six fundamental principles of the Pilates Method which are Breathing, Centering, Concentration, Control, Flow, and Precision, work the entire body in all planes of movement focusing on gradual progressions of intermediate Pilates exercises with a focus on getting stronger.

Classical Pilates Level 1 Learn & move through the foundations and the basics of the Pilates method using the Pilates reformer. This piece of equipment features a bedded carriage with a system of customizable springs, ropes and pulleys which offers a unique form of exercise involving eccentric and concentric movements in order to focus on muscle tone and core strength. In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of alignment, breath, and proper movement mechanics at a slower pace while flowing through different variations of beginner exercises. Work the entire body in all planes of movement focusing on gradual progressions of Beginner Pilates exercises with a focus on building a strong body and core in an efficient way. This class is suitable for those who are new and those who are familiar with Pilates who would like to dive back into and focus on the basics.

Classical Pilates Level 2 & 3 Challenging sequences and variations of exercises will be taught in this class for the Pilates enthusiast. It is a high intensity class designed to keep your body in motion with minimal rest between exercises. Contemporary Pilates Offers exercises and variations to the classical Pilates repertoire. In this challenging class, participants will be pushed to improve their form and focus on proper execution, maximizing the benefits to their alignment, and strength. Modifications will also be offered throughout so students can reduce the difficulty as needed.
