Pickleball Pavilion Construction Begins

The Wheaton Sport Center is extremely excited to announce a date to start the construction of the new dedicated 6 court Pickleball Pavilion.

 

Weather permitting, on Wednesday, March 22, the east lot entrance (entrance off Wheaton Oaks road/Elliot Lake) will be closed and parking will be limited on the east side of the building.  The construction will take approximately 6 weeks to complete.

 

Pickleball Informational Meetings in the Gym- approximately 60 minutes

Thursday, April 6th at 7pm

Saturday, April 8th at 10:30 am

Clinics with Suzee Anderson – April 13-15th

Suzee Anderson, founder and creator of the Suzee Anderson Academy, will be at the Wheaton Sport Center April 13-15th to conduct clinics, certify WSC pros and answer questions.

Suzee is currently Head Pro at Club Pickleball USA in Utah https://cpusaacademy.com/clubcoaches/ is a US Open and USAPA National medalist.

Receive your 2.5-5.5 Pickleball Skill Rating – April 29-30th

Per the Professional Pickleball Registry, the industry leader in professional certification, recommendation, the WSC is offering members to be rated by certified PPR certified Rating professions.  These ratings provide consistency amongst players and to facilitate more effective programs.  It will also help you if you participate in a local tournament or programing.
