Wheaton Sport Center exists to improve and energize the quality of life for members and their families through motivation, support, and exceptional service in a safe and friendly neighborhood atmosphere.
We take our member’s club experience very seriously. We are constantly upgrading and evolving the club to meet and exceed your fitness and wellness needs. Check out our latest enhancements.
The gym is a shared space and is sometimes reserved as part or all of the gym. Please be respectful of these reservations and their activities. For schedule and open gym times, please refer to the Gym Schedule above.
Due to Covid-19 we have to adjust the usage of the basketball gym:
WSC is an active supporter of several local charities. Some of the organizations we collaborate with each year include: Ronald McDonald House Charities, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Outreach Community Ministries, American Association of University Women, Soles for Souls, and more. In 2016, we also supported Tennis Thanks the Troops, Rally for a Cure, and Cal’s Angels for Pediatric Cancer. In addition, we provide donations to over 50 local school and charity events for their annual fundraisers.

Karen has been an avid fitness buff who enjoys life through the lens of positive spirituality and physical health. An E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, Karen is grateful to be able to share her love of yoga with others in both a teaching and management capacity. Karen creates a welcoming environment with students and team members, encouraging self-acceptance, wellness, restoration, and personal growth. Karen especially enjoys the challenge of creating a dynamic and fun sequence in each and every class that connects deeply with her students. Karen is a mother of three and in addition to her Yoga life she gives of her time to her family as well as various ministries in her parish. 200hr Certified. At the club since: 2008

His drive is to stay as healthy as possible in order to help more people and have more fun with the time he is given! Tanner holds a master’s degree in exercise physiology as well as a degree in nutrition and health (behavioral) science. He uses all of these and his 18 years’ experience to help others live stronger (which is his vision and desire for everyone). His expertise is in Functional Fitness (healthy movement), Wellness Coaching (exercise planning, diet analysis, behavior change) and Exercise Therapy (post-rehab/special conditions). He is excited to join the Wheaton Sport Center staff and assist in creating the best environment and programming to help you be your best! At the club since: 2020
630-315-5373Nancy Allen brings over 28 years of experience to the fitness industry and is passionate about her profession. She understands that clients may have incredibly busy lives, but believes it is necessary to strike a balance between health, wellness, family, work and friends. Nancy’s areas of interest include working with motivated clients of all ages and abilities who are willing to work hard and be challenged to achieve optimal results. Nancy provides a workout that is challenging, effective and fun while incorporating the latest fitness trends to give her client the best program possible. Her fitness passions include running, biking, outdoor activities, basketball, and strength training. She also enjoys being an avid sport spectator, especially baseball. Nancy earned her B.S. degree in Physical Education/Adult Fitness from University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. Her credits also include National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer, TRX Suspension Training and TRX Functional Training Certified. He entered the field after suffering a career-ending back injury through a nationally-ranked tennis career. Zac has a passion for motivating clients to challenge themselves to overcome their physical limitations as well as proper weight management. In addition to earning a Master of Arts in Kinesiology (with emphasis in Biomechanics) from San Diego State University, Zac completed three years of apprenticeship in the field of corrective exercise and post-rehabilitation training. Since 2014, he has served as an Exercise Physiologist for a Chicago-based medical weight management program, AMITA Health Weight Loss Solutions, where he helps individuals with exercise, nutrition, and healthy cooking. 630-690-0887 x379Lisa Evans believes that exercise can be a healing, fulfilling, and joyful activity to improve one’s health and well-being. She is passionate about getting her clients to work toward their fullest potential. In addition, she enjoys assisting her clients to grow stronger and move easily through proper technique and posture improvement. Lisa’s areas of interest include working with a variety of clients, especially those wanting to improve mobility, recover/prevent injury, and work toward lifelong health goals as well as athletes of all levels. Lisa has been a fitness enthusiast since childhood but it became a passion while attending Wheaton College. There she discovered the lifelong benefit of caring for her body through exercise. Lisa earned her B.S degree in Applied Health Science at Wheaton College and is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. Her credits also include Animal Flow Level 1 Instructor, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist and TRX Suspension Trainer/Instructor, TRX Rip Trainer and TRX Functional Training Certified, ONNIT Academy participant, and 5 years of previous experience as an Exercise Therapist for spine conditions at Russeau Team Healthcare. 630-690-0887 x316Eddie O’Connor believes fitness is one of the best ways to change a person’s quality of life. Born and raised in Wheaton, Eddie has been involved and competed in a myriad of sports. He learned early that pushing one’s self past the point of wanting to quit builds “unbreakable” physical strength and mental stability. Eddie’s areas of interests include working with a variety of clients, incorporating many different techniques that will help his clients achieve their goals in an enjoyable and refreshing way. Eddie emphasizes the use of tools such as steel maces, steel clubs, battle ropes, sandbags, boxing, bodyweight, barbells, kettlebells and suspension training devices. He believes hitting all scopes of fitness to reach his client’s goals from durability to strength is very important. Eddie studied at the National Personal Training Institute and earned his Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sport Medicine. Other credits include Animal Flow Level 1 Instructor and certifications from ONNIT Foundations, Box-N-Burn Levels 1 & 2, TRX Functional Training Course, as well as Viking Ninja White Belt ranking. Anna has a passion for helping others to live their best lives. She is an ISSA certified personal trainer since 2011, has a B.S. in Human Resources and specializes in strength training & HIIT-based workouts. Anna has an attractive personality that keeps her clients coming back for more. She designs fun and effective workouts that will keep you guessing and appropriately challenged. 630-690-0887 x357Justin Antonello became a Certified Personal Trainer during his sophomore year at Wheaton College because of his drive to help others reach their goals and live life with energy and confidence. He is experienced in one-on-one and group training, and his focus is on functional fitness, weight-loss, and body transformation. Justin has a fun personality and likes to provide exciting workouts. His aim is to move his clients closer to their goals while encouraging them to appreciate the journey and have fun. Justin is currently finishing up his degree in Business and Kinesiology. 630-690-0887 x450Cheryl Scigousky has been a USA Triathlon Coach since 2005 and an Ace Personal Trainer since 2004. She has competed in running races as well as triathlons of all distances, including the following: World Championships 140.6 Ironman 70.3 Ironman ITU Off-road triathlon Olympic distance Sprint distance She has qualified multiple times for the Boston Marathon. All of that said, Cheryl understands how intimidating it can be to start out on this journey. When she committed to her first triathlon, which she did as a mother of 3 young children, she was unable to swim one length in the pool. As a testament to hard work, perseverance, and determination, she reached her goals and the finish lines. All of the this personal experience helped to manifest her strong desire to help others achieve the “impossible” too. She looks forward to working with you and your customized program to reveal the confidence and ability you already have, to conquer your first race or next race. At the club since: 2019
