Katie Martin began her yoga journey in 2010 practicing Bikram Yoga. She fell in love yoga’s physical and spiritual benefits. As a busy mom, she knew she needed to tend to herself so she could give her best to others. Katie took her first vinyasa class at in 2013 and instantly was hooked. The beautiful flow reminded her of her days as ballet dancer. Katie has been teaching ballet and Pilates for 20 years and yoga has helped her to remain strong and flexible both in mind and body. Katie is certified in vinyasa, restorative, and trauma sensitive yoga as well as Pilates and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). She has led multiple yoga teacher trainings and enrichment programs. Katie resides in the western suburbs with her six children. She is thrilled to be sharing her passion for movement and self-care with her students at the Wheaton Sport Center. At the club since 2023

An E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, Karen is grateful to be able to share her love of yoga, REACH, and Pilates with others in both a teaching and management capacity. Karen creates a welcoming environment with students and team members, encouraging self-acceptance, wellness, restoration, and personal growth. Karen especially enjoys the challenge of creating a dynamic and fun sequence in each and every class that connects deeply with her students. Karen is a mother of three and in addition to her professional life she gives of her time to her family as well as various ministries in her parish. At the club since: 2008
Corie is a certified yoga and Pilates instructor, completing intensive courses on mat, reformer, Cadillac, chair and barrels. Corie was first introduced to Pilates reformer as a way to recover from an injury and quickly fell in love with the practice and its emphasis on alignment and body control. She looks forward to sharing the Pilates principles with clients to help them achieve balance and strength from the inside out. Corie graduated from the University of Illinois – Champaign/Urbana with a background in Health Planning and Administration and has always had a passion for helping others feel their best through movement and exploring the mind-body connection. She enjoys creating programs that all levels can participate in and find a personal practice all their own to feel accomplished with. Jessica’s greatest hope is that all who come and share time with her, leave feeling like a better version of themselves. At the club since: 2008
Lisa has been teaching group fitness since 1986 (!). Her certifications include General Group Exercise, Spin/Cycle, Yoga, TRX, CRT & Barre, most recently adding REACH classes to that list. What’s kept her in the business so long is the joy of walking alongside members in the journey of learning how to keep their bodies healthy and strong for the long haul, and doing it together.
