Wheaton Sport Center exists to improve and energize the quality of life for members and their families through motivation, support, and exceptional service in a safe and friendly neighborhood atmosphere.
We take our member’s club experience very seriously. We are constantly upgrading and evolving the club to meet and exceed your fitness and wellness needs. Check out our latest enhancements.
The gym is a shared space and is sometimes reserved as part or all of the gym. Please be respectful of these reservations and their activities. For schedule and open gym times, please refer to the Gym Schedule above.

WSC is an active supporter of several local charities. Some of the organizations we collaborate with each year include: Ronald McDonald House Charities, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Outreach Community Ministries, American Association of University Women, Soles for Souls, and more. In 2016, we also supported Tennis Thanks the Troops, Rally for a Cure, and Cal’s Angels for Pediatric Cancer. In addition, we provide donations to over 50 local school and charity events for their annual fundraisers.

Karen has been an avid fitness buff who enjoys life through the lens of positive spirituality and physical health. An E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, Karen is grateful to be able to share her love of yoga, REACH, and Pilates with others in both a teaching and management capacity. Karen creates a welcoming environment with students and team members, encouraging self-acceptance, wellness, restoration, and personal growth. Karen especially enjoys the challenge of creating a dynamic and fun sequence in each and every class that connects deeply with her students. Karen is a mother of three and in addition to her professional life she gives of her time to her family as well as various ministries in her parish. At the club since: 2008
630-315-5347Beth Pomatto comes to the Wheaton Sport Center with a passion for yoga and serving others. Beth has been practicing yoga most of her life. She became inspired to get her 200hr training to help others experience the benefits of yoga for themselves. Beth has been teaching yoga to all ages for 9 years and is continuing her yoga education in multiple class formats while working towards her 500hr certification. She is excited to share the benefits of yoga with you. 200hr Certified. At the club since: 2012
Sheryl has over 30 years experience instructing all forms of fitness with a focus on Pilates in the last 2 decades. She is Pilates Method Alliance Certified (PMA) and teaches all apparatus and mat based exercises. Sheryl can provide individualized and group instruction for all skill levels. At the club since: 1999
630-690-0887Stephanie Brown has a background in strength and cardio training. She has completed many 1/2 marathons and sprint triathlon/duathlons. In her free time, she is attending multiple sports for her active kids. She started with the ZONE360 team in 2018. She is a certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Specialist with NASM. She is also certified to in TRX and Cycle. At the club since 2010.
Suzi Berner has been inspiring folks to reach their fitness goals for the last 12 years. She is a Cycle Instructor and ZONE360 Coach at WSC. Suzi competes in triathlons from the sprint distance to full Ironman, at the local level as well as on the world stage. She also competes in Time Trials & Criterium bike races. She is certified in AFAA, MADD Dog Athletics for Cycling, Advanced Les Mills Body Pump, and CPR. In her spare time, she enjoys family and being outdoors. At club since 2018.
Abby comes to Wheaton Sport Center with over 15 years of experience in the aquatics industry. She has taken on a wide range of roles in the Chicagoland area, from lifeguarding to managing. During that time, Abby taught swim lessons to swimmers ranging from infants to adults, put together strategic schedules and lesson plans, and developed engaging aquatic activities and operations. She also lived in Connecticut where she was the Aquatics Activity Coordinator for a special needs summer camp, Easter Seal. Abby’s responsibilities included developing therapeutic water activities and creating customized aquatics programs for special needs campers from teenagers to adults. She has competed in numerous National Lifeguard Competitions and participated in three Triathlons. Abby loves to swim, bike, and run and also enjoys canoeing, kayaking, rafting, and hiking. At the Wheaton Sport Center, she enjoys practicing yoga and taking Pilates Reformer classes. Abby graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors of Science and a focus in Allied Health and Health Promotion. She looks forward to joining the WSC Family and overseeing the Aquatics Program to take it to new depths. Abby is very excited to dive in, participate, and manage all things swimming! 630-315-5325Elite Level Justin brings over 20 years of competitive swim and coaching experience to the pool. He has coached previously at Robert Morris University, and age group programs in Bolingbrook, Arlington Heights, and Peoria, IL. He brings a philosophy of enjoying swimming at any age level, for fitness and competition.
