WSC is an active supporter of several local charities. Some of the organizations we collaborate with each year include: Ronald McDonald House Charities, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Outreach Community Ministries, American Association of University Women, Soles for Souls, and more. In 2016, we also supported Tennis Thanks the Troops, Rally for a Cure, and Cal’s Angels for Pediatric Cancer. In addition, we provide donations to over 50 local school and charity events for their annual fundraisers.

We love them and know you will too!
I began swimming prior to walking. My journey being on a swim team started when I was just 5 years old. I competed on a local team and went to Junior Olympics and Nationals twice a year by age 9, placing first in several events. I would qualify for Nationals in almost all events. My best events were 100 & 200 Breaststroke and 200 & 400 Individual Medley. I went to the US Open at the age of 13, in the 100 & 200 Breaststroke. I continued swimming in college, then went onto Chicago Triathlons, Ironman, and Warrior Dash yearly events for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. I was the Head Swim Coach at Health Track Sport Center for 4 years. I also taught at the park district and continued private lessons for many years. I am happy to teach others and get them excited in the pool in learning new techniques; to improve their skills for personal goals or to improve their skills professionally. I have two children of my own. They also have been swimming since before learning to walk. I know swimming is a valuable skill for anyone to learn and to succeed in their future endeavors. From those that do not know how to swim to masters; technique is key for all levels, and I am grateful to be able to share my skills with others. At the club since: 2023
