Camille Pye began her yoga journey in 2014 by taking yoga classes offered in the Recreation Center at Western Illinois University. Since then, her practice has deepened to provide flexibility both physically and mentally. Like many individuals existing in the corporate world, Yoga was a means to slow down and unwind after a fast paced day working in Chicago and to combat anxiety. During the pandemic she took the leap and completed her teachers training after being awarded a BIPOC scholarship for Yogi’s of diverse backgrounds. She was very eager to apply her teachings from the computer screen to the studio. She wishes to aid her students in bringing mindfulness to their everyday life, and aiding in their journey to create depth in their practices by balancing mind, body, and spirit. She hopes that she can encourage people of diverse backgrounds to honor mental health practices and to take charge of their physical health through refreshing and fun avenues. At the club since 2024
