We take our member’s club experience very seriously. We are constantly upgrading and evolving the club to meet and exceed your fitness and wellness needs. Come in and see us!
WSC is an active supporter of several local charities. Some of the organizations we collaborate with each year include: Ronald McDonald House Charities, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Outreach Community Ministries, American Association of University Women, Soles for Souls, and more. In 2016, we also supported Tennis Thanks the Troops, Rally for a Cure, and Cal’s Angels for Pediatric Cancer. In addition, we provide donations to over 50 local school and charity events for their annual fundraisers.

Tennis Professional Morrie is a PTR certified Tennis Professional since 2009. Because of his passion for tennis, he has been a student of the game and really enjoys teaching all levels of players. Morrie has been involved in the tennis community for a number of years. He has been a USTA captain and an NITTL coordinator. He has also coordinated in-house leagues and groups at other clubs. Morrie created the online application that is used by the Northern Illinois Traveling Tennis League (NITTL), Greater Suburban Indoor Tennis League (GSITL), and the Fox Valley Women’s Tennis League (FVWTL). Alyssa moved to Wheaton in 2021 from Chicago and has been a Wheaton Sport Center member since 2022. She has a husband, two kids, and shorkie. Originally a Pickleball player, she has now joined the WSC Tennis Team as a Tennis Administrator. You’ll see her around WSC enjoying the pickleball pavilion, a variety of group classes and now tennis! She’s excited to continue improving her skills on the court and assisting our tennis and club members in her Tennis Administrator role. At the club since 2025

Lydia holds dual roles in WSC tennis as both a Tennis Administrator and a Tennis Coach. She’s an accomplished tennis player, competing in collegiate tennis at Wheaton College (’25). While at Wheaton College, Lydia earned a Conference Championship in her senior season (2024-2025). In high school, she was a two-time State singles qualifier, four-time All-Conference honoree, four-time team MVP, Section Champion in 2017 and 2018, State Quarterfinalist in 2017. Growing up in Minnesota, she love all things outdoors, especially spending time on the lakes! Lydia’s coaching experience includes working with youth over the course of many high school and college summers and Assistant Coach for the Wheaton College Women’s Tennis team, as well as a coach for both group and private lessons at WSC. She is passionate about staying active and love that tennis is a lifelong sport, whether you’ve never picked up a racket or are an experienced player! At the club since 2025

Lead Racquet Stringer – As the Lead Racquet Stringer, Jane coordinates our racquet stringing service and uses her expertise to efficiently string racquets and advise members on stringing and equipment. Jane began stringing racquets in 2017and since has strung over 5,000 racquets. She is PTR Certified. She attended DePauw University & National Louis University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and Masters in Teaching, respectively. She spent her youth playing competitive tennis, achieving top twenty rankings for Midwest girls several years running. At the club since: 2011 630.690.0887 x372

Jeff is both a PTR and a USPTA certified professional and a member of the United States Racquet Stringer’s Association. He has been stringing tennis racquets since 1988. In addition to stringing racquets here at WSC, Jeff has coached high school tennis for over 20 years and has been the Head Boys and Girls Tennis Coach at Fenton High School for over 13 years. He started playing tennis as a junior and still loves to compete – you’ll find him hitting on the WSC courts and he plays on three WSC USTA teams. As the In-House League Coordinator, Susan administers the in-house tennis leagues and assists with special events, socials, and other administrative areas. Prior to focusing on the In-House League Coordinator role, Susan served as the WSC Tennis Relations Coordinator. She brings enthusiasm as well as experience and talent in customer service to the WSC team. Susan is an avid tennis player and a pickleball and workout enthusiast. When Susan isn’t in the Tennis Welcome Center, you can find her almost any day of the week on the tennis court, in the pickleball pavilion, in the Precision Studio, or in the fitness area, enjoying all that WSC has to offer! Allie Beyer is an E-RYT and has been teaching hot and vinyasa yoga since 2015. She enjoys challenging her students to grow in their practice by experimenting with familiar movements in unfamiliar ways. Allie likes to remind her students (and herself) that it’s just yoga – Have fun with it and find playfulness on the mat! 200hr Certified, Hot & Aerial Certified. At the club since 2015

Beth Pomatto comes to the Wheaton Sport Center with a passion for yoga and serving others. Beth has been practicing yoga most of her life. She became inspired to get her 200hr training to help others experience the benefits of yoga for themselves. Beth has been teaching yoga to all ages for 9 years and is continuing her yoga education in multiple class formats while working towards her 500hr certification. She is excited to share the benefits of yoga with you. 200hr Certified. At the club since: 2012
Carrie began taking yoga and aqua aerobics classes at the Sport Center 20 years ago, never dreaming that one day she would be leading those classes! Carrie is a professional violinist and orchestra conductor, and came to yoga in her mid-40’s. She has discovered the myriad benefits of a yoga practice, especially in building an awareness of not only how the physical body moves and changes, but the inner workings of the mind. She is excited to help yogis of all levels find progress in their bodies and in the ability to take a step back from the distractions of everyday life. Carrie holds a 500 hour certification through Yoga Alliance, and an active certificate with the Aquatic Education Association. She also occasionally travels to tropical resorts, where she serves as the Yoga/Aqua teacher in residence. At the club since 2019
