Lenno Lasn, Tennis Professional, Master Racquet Technician

Lenno brings a wealth of tennis knowledge, experience and expertise to WSC as well as tremendous enthusiasm for our Junior Academy Program. His tennis philosophy centers around a full approach, "Players must have the skills and mind set, along with consistency, to outplay opponents... to be the player who can put the last ball in the court... in order to call themselves tennis players and not just a person holding a racquet.

Lenno is originally from Estonia, where he started playing tennis at the age of 8. When he was 18, he moved to the Chicago area and played tennis at College of Du Page. Competing for the COD team at the 1998 National Junior College Men's Tennis Championships, Lenno earned the title of National Champion at #4 Singles and was National Runner-Up in Doubles. He then attended Queens College in New York, where he played #1 Singles on their team.

Throughout his college career, Lenno taught tennis to both juniors and adults at all levels, and while in New York, he worked as an assistance coach for the USTA Reebok Program.
