PILATES REFORM FUNDAMENTALS

Learn the Pilates Principles - breathing, pelvic placement, rib cage placement, shoulder stabilization and mobilization and cervical placement needed for the Group Reformer classes. The popular reformer will be introduced; you will learn how to set it up and how it is used in class.
This class is for those who have successfully demonstrated the basic Pilates principles and fundamental exercises. Variations of the basic exercises will be used to continue to build on endurance will be used to continue to build on endurance and core strength and flexibility. Prerequisite: Pilates Reform Fundamentals
Challenging sequences and variations of exercises will be taught in this class for the Pilates enthusiast. It is a high intensity class designed to keep your body in motion with minimal rest between exercises. It is expected that the individual has a thorough understanding of the Pilates system. Prerequisite: Pilates Reform Fundamentals and completion of minimum of two 8 week Beginner/Intermediate sessions or with instructor recommendation.
