BMI stands for Body Mass Index. It measures body composition. BMI is calculated by taking your weight and dividing by your height squared. In general, this is an indicator of obesity but you must also take into account your body type, shape and age. This calculator is not accurate for seniors, pregnant women or weightlifters.
