You will be using resistance against tensioned springs, in order to isolate and develop specific muscle groups. Session after session you get stronger and more confident in your growing ability to move with ease. This class will be done in groups of three to five people and will meet once a week.
Group Reformer Orientation
Duration – 90 minutes
Participants will learn the basic Pilates principles; breathing, pelvic placement, rib cage placement, shoulder stabilization and mobilization and cervical placement needed for the Group Reformer Classes and also prepare them for a Beginning Pilates Mat Class. The instructor will give specific modifications for alignments for participants. We will introduce the most popular piece of Pilates equipment, the Reformer. Participants will get an energizing total body workout and learn about the Reformer, its benefits, how to set it up and how it’s used in a class format. Capacity for the class session is 5 participants. Prerequisite for Group Reformer Class.

Group Reformer Class
Duration – 55 minutes
With only 5 per class you will receive the benefit of supervision and support at a lower cost than private or duets. Once you've taken a Reformer Orientation, you can move up to the Group Reformer class. These classes are all performed on the Pilates Reformer and progress from Beginner level to an Intermediate level. The pace is moderate, yet challenging and will tone and lengthen muscles, strengthen the core and provide an invigorating total body workout. Capacity for the Group Reformer classes is five participants. Participants will meet once a week for 6 weeks. Pilates and Reformer Fundamentals or at least 2 private sessions on the Reformer is mandatory prior to taking this class.
MAKEUP POLICY
* Students are able to attend at other class times for an extra makeup class if there is room in the class. If a student books an extra makeup class and does not show, he/she will be charged $25 for that class.
Classes begin May 19th and continue through the week of June 23rd.

Group Reformer Class – Single Sessions NEW!
A new way for you to be able to take a group reformer class without committing to a six-week session. For $25 dollars you are able to attend any Group Reformer Class on the schedule, space permitting. Open Reformer Classes will be posted after registration and clients will be able to sign up for individual sessions. The earlier you sign up for the weekly classes, the better chance you’ll have a spot. Clients must have taken or currently be registered in the appropriate level class in order to participate.
