Meet The Trainers
Laura Nosek, Pilates Director
Laura
has been teaching and training in the health and fitness field since 2000. She received her training in the Joseph Pilates Method under the direction of Patrick O'Brien at From the Center Pilates Studio Chicago.
She is also certified in Pilates Mat I and II and for group fitness through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She has personally completed more than 800 hours of Pilates training, increasing her knowledge of physiology to create a more healthy, strong and balanced body.
Along with coordinating the Pilates program, she will be instructing all the classes in the New Pilates Program (schedule found on the back of this brochure) as well as teaching private and semi-private sessions on the reformer. Laura’s goal is to assist her clients in creating a lean, balanced musculature that is strong, yet flexible.
Laura also teaches Beginning Pilates Mat, and Intermediate Pilates Mat.
Sarah deGuia, Certified Pilates Instructor
Sarah enjoys engaging clients in body awareness and movement while promoting health and wellness education. Also an ACE-certified fitness professional, her approach focuses on contemporary Pilates method.
Sarah and her husband moved back to the Midwest after 11 years of living in the Seattle area. In her free time, she enjoys participating in fun-runs/walks, beading and dining out on the town.
Sarah is currently offering Private and Semi Private and Small Group Sessions in Pilates. She is also teaching Group Reformer Classes.
Debbie Hoffman & Kathleen Morris also teach Pilates classes at the Wheaton Sport Center. Check back soon for information and bios for Debbie and Kathleen. |
