Make a Child Care Reservation

Wheaton Sport Center Child Care General Information & Rules

  • Reservations are required to assure adequate staffing.

  • Advance reservations may be made in-house by filling out a Reservation Request Form at the Members Services Desk, up to one week in advance.

  • After hours, daily reservations may be left on our voicemail, 630.315.5313. If we exceed our ratios, your name will go on a waiting list. You will be notified when there is an opening.

  • There is a two-hour time limit for reservations. A second reservation may be made, provided there are four hours between visits. Infants 3-6 months may only have one visit per day.

  • A permanent time may be requested for standing reservations.

  • Cancellation of a reservation must be made at least two hours in advance to avoid a “late cancellation” charge. Failure to cancel will result in a “no show” fee. See Child Care Reservation Desk for fees.

  • For health and sanitation reasons, our team members will not change diapers. Changing tables are located in both bathrooms within the department. You will be paged if your child needs changing. If their clothes are wet or soiled, a change of clothes must be put on before the child returns to Child Care.

  • Bare feet are not allowed (including infants).

  • No child will be permitted in Child Care if any of the following conditions exist: runny nose, deep cough, diarrhea, rash, elevated temperature, red eyes or eye discharge. Your child must be free of these symptoms, unmedicated, for 24 hours before returning.

  • A physician’s note may be required for any conditions or allergies that are being treated and declared harmless.

  • Only parents or legal guardians are allowed to drop off or pick up their children.

  • Our team members will do our best to work with any child who may have special needs. However, we reserve the right to refuse any child who is unable to adjust to our Child Care services.

During Your Visit

  • Have your WSC membership ID card ready for dropping off and picking up your child at the Child Care Reservation Desk. For each child’s safety, it is mandatory that you sign in/out your child.

  • Child Care will print a name tag for your child. Please write your location/activity on the name tag. Highlight any special needs or requirements on the tag.

  • Please label all belongings — bags, outerwear, bottles, drinks, snacks, and pacifiers with your child’s name before visiting Child Care.

  • Please collapse any strollers.

  • Please see the Snacks menu for planning your child's daily snacks.

  • All persons entering Child Care must use hand sanitizer or wash hands before entry.

  • Gym shoes required for Gym and Playground activities.

Snacks

  • Please provide your child with a labeled, reusable snack bag. Only dry snacks will be allowed in the Child Care area (cereal, crackers, pretzels, chips). Foods such as gum, candy, raisins, apples, fruit roll-ups, grapes, fruit chews, peanut products, and prepared lunches are not allowed because they either can be a choking hazard to small children, or a health hazard to children with allergies. They are also very messy.

  • We only allow baby bottles and spill proof cups, since we do have a drinking fountain in the department. Please do not send juice boxes/pouches, soda or bottled drinks.

For the Upper Deck Game Lounge, District 200 full scheduled days off school & breaks will follow the Child Care hours as posted above.

* Please note: Sundays are closed in the summer for both area services
