The Fun Run is a 5K and 1 mile Run/Walk which benefits the N.E.W. 200 Foundation and our children’s future.  All net proceeds support District 200 schools with teacher and student program funding.  Our mission is to “lift our schools to N.E.W. heights.”

About The Course: 

The 2009 5K Fun Run will take place at Hubble Middle School.

Both the 5K and the 1 mile Fun Run courses will have Water, First Aid Stations and Mile Markers clearly defined and posted.  STROLLERS, BIKES, DOGS and ROLLERBLADES ARE PROBHIBITED. (Jogging strollers will be allowed.)

Participant Packets: 

Packet Pickup: Wednesday 9/16 10am-8pm & Thursday 9/17 10am-8pm at Wheaton Sport Center.

Packet pick up for early registrants will be available to all runners who register online by September 16, 2009. T-shirts and ChronoTracks will be guaranteed to all who register by September 9th*. Packet pick up will be available at Wheaton Sport Center located at 1000 W. Prairie Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187. BE SURE TO BRING A PHOTO ID WITH YOU TO PRESENT AT THE WSC FRONT DESK UPON CLUB ENTRANCE & SIGN IN.

Packet pick up for same day registrants will be at the Check-in Desk in the Registration Area at Hubble Middle School from 7am-9am. Participant packets and giveaways are on a first come first serve basis for all same day registrations available at the Check-in Desk at Hubble Middle School on Race Day.

Refreshments:

Water and refreshments will be available for runners and walkers.
 
Parking:

Parking will be available in the Hubble Middle School Parking lot directly north of the school. It can be accessed from Naperville Road. You may also use street parking but parking will NOT be allowed along the race course. Please see the map of the 5K for specific streets.

Not able to join us?

If you are not able to join us for the day's events but would like to donate to the N.E.W. 200 Foundation's cause to benefit District 200 schools, you can send in a check with this form.  For more information about the foundation, visit their website at http://www.new200foundation.org  All donations are greatly appreciated. 

Raffle Tickets

Raffle Tickets will be on sale on the day of the Race/Festival.  Tickets are $3 for 1 (one) ticket, or $10 for 4 (four) tickets. There will be several drawings throughout the day's events with great items from area businesses and race sponsors.  Each ticket is your chance to win - You do not have to be present to win! Purchase tickets today!
