Iron Man Motivatinal Event
The fitness department will be hosting an Iron Man motivational program. The goal is to finish an Iron Man triathlon in 2 weeks. Stop up at the fitness desk in September and join. Prizes given out for finishing! |

| N.E.W. 200 Fun Run |
| |
| The Fun Run takes place on Sunday, September 23 and is a 5K Run/Walk which benefits the N.E.W. 200 Foundation and our children’s future. All net proceeds support District 200 schools with teacher and student program funding. Our mission is to “lift our schools to N.E.W. heights.” Michael Gresk, the Mayor of Wheaton will kick off the race & Barry Keefe from Mix 101.9 will be our announcer. We need volunteers to for a variety of tasks. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please contact Julie Zinkus at 630-690-0887 ext. 358, via email or fill out our online volunteer form. |

5 Gallons for 5 Bucks

| Construction Updates |

Relocating of Front Entrance |
Beginning July 27th, the main front entrance to the club will be temporarily closed and
relocated to west side of the building where a batting cage currently exists. While the original main front entrance is closed for renovations, members and guests will enter and exit through Tennis Court 4 on the indoor tennis courts. Courts 1-3 will be available for play during this time. Please consider this area the main entrance during this phase of renovations. |

| Child Care |
WSC Childcare will be temporarily relocated to the large gym starting on July 27th. Please check in through the temporary entrance by Tennis Court #4.
As time approaches, please look for more information and that will be displayed in
the member’s lounge by the Renovation Materials/Storyboards. |

| Group Exercise |
WSC is proud to introduce two new exercise instructors! Linda Dodd will be teaching “Kickboxing” and “Dance Party.” Debbie Mann will teach various Aquatics Classes, Pilates and Yoga.
Also be sure to notice that classes will start to post "Class in Session" signage on the studio doors. For safety reasons, members will not be allowed to enter the class after a 10 minute period. |

Stroke Analysis
The Aquatics Department has a new underwater video camera to aide in your swimming development. To reserve a time to get your swimming stroke analyzed with Coach Jennifer Heyer-Olsen please call 690.0887 X388.

Stingrays
The fall and winter Stingrays registration will start for all summer Stingray swimmers on August 1st and be due before August 15th. Open registration will begin on August 15th.

| 4th of July Float |

The 4th of July float looked wonderful! Thank you to everyone who was involved in building the float as well as all the volunteers who were on the float during the parade. I really appreciate all the volunteers and couldn’t have done it without you! |

| Competitive High School Volleyball Training |
These developmental programs are open to high school boys and girls seeking an intense level of volleyball training. These camps are not for beginner players; however, they are ideal for those athletes serious about making their high school team. Each session will include the basic fundamentals of volleyball including passing, setting, hitting, spiking, footwork, and jump training as well as team play and key offensive and defensive strategies. The High School Girls training will be July 23-27from 3-5pm. The High School Boys training will be July 30-August 3 from 4:30-6:30pm. Please call 690-0887 ext. 334 for more details. |
