Message from the Manager

February also means the indoor triathlon, which benefits the MS society. If you are not participating, please consider volunteering.  As a past participant, I always appreciated my “support person” and hoped they realized what a positive impact they had on my performance. Just a reminder, the gift of good health doesn’t end when your workout does. A manicure, pedicure or massage is a great way to say I love you this Valentine’s Day!

As I close in on my first year anniversary here at the Sport Center, I would once again like to thank you for your patience this year.  At times it seemed that progress didn’t seem to move and then everything was happening without notice.  My team has tried to make this adventure as smooth as possible.  We tried to keep areas open and not effect your workout or your tranquility.  If you have felt differently, please stop by, call or email.  I value all your views and ideas.  Together both our 2008 goals are obtainable.
As always, your friendly and dedicated WSC team is here to assist you no matter what your fitness goals. So, sign up for a class, check out some new equipment or try something new in the Spa. Whatever you do, make February a Heart Healthy and Happy Month for your whole family.

Health and Happiness,
Dawn Szumski

A Few Thoughts & Suggestions
Pick-up & Drop-offs from 4-7pm
We are noticing that from 4-7pm with the pick-up of children from classes that our entrance and other cars parked close to the entrances are being blocked in.  Please drive carefully and try to keep an “out” option in the event you are blocking someone in.
Track Courtesy & Safety
Please remember track courtesy during these inside months.  Single strollers should be used in the far outside lane.  If walking in a group, please do not walk more than 2 wide and be aware of runners.
Parking Concerns
We realize parking is tight during the winter months. Please be assured that WSC Team members are instructed to park as far away as possible or off-sight.  The construction crews, if not supplying materials are to park south of the east side dumpster.  The trailers will be removed asap.  Hopefully this will relieve some of our parking problems.
